Directions

By Car: From Glasgow take the M8 north west and cross the Erskine Bridge via the M898. Continue on the A82 to Crianlarich. Continue on the A82 towards Fort William through Tyndrum. Go through Fort William towards Spean Bridge and Invergarry. At Invergarry turn left onto the A87 then at Cluanie Dam turn left continuing on the A87 towards Kyle of Lochalsh & Skye. Immediately after Eilean Donan Castle turn right into the village of Dornie and when facing the loch turn left, Red House is then straight in front of you!

By rail: The local railway station is Kyle of Lochalsh - 9 miles from Red House Dornie.
Cars can be hired from near to the station and also there is a reliable local taxi service.

By bus: Buses from Fort William, Glasgow and Inverness stop by Eilean Donan Castle which is 5 minutes’ walk from the house. Please visit www.citylink.co.uk for timetables.

By air: The nearest airport is Inverness. There are bus links to Dornie, and train links to Kyle of Lochalsh, from Inverness

You can park directly in front of Red House Dornie for unloading. There are plenty of free parking spaces adjacent to the house.
